(Some words spelled as it looked like in the document, some words were very small and hard to read)

Regarding the difference in years, the body of the document was Twenty fourth day of March 1848 and the
signature of William Seal was twenty fourth day of March 1849.

Did William Seal get mixed up when writing the document or did it take a year to get it all done???

From Reading this Document we can determine that:

Bernard (Barnet) Lents's wife, Catherine, was deceased as they married in 1842.

Jonathon, Mary Ellen and Sarah (Sally) Lents were all underage, and therefore did not have to sign.

William Lents (wife Matilda Edwards) was not an heir of Jacob, therefore was not a son. Probably a nephew.
